Greetings, fellow gerbils!
Hey there, it's Gerry here! As you may have gathered, I am a gerbil and this is a blog about my life on this planet. I appear to humans through a machine called the GerbilMaestro, which is an exact copy of my master. I control this machine and most of the time pretend to be my master in front of other humans.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thanks a gerbillion!

Weekly News Round-Up #22: 10/03/2013

This week has been one of the toughest I've had in a long time! I haven't been around for many lunchtimes this week, so we'll just have to make do with what we've got...

This week's PE lesson saw us realise just how funny it is for people to run on a treadmill on top speed with the highest possible gradient.

Afterwards, Wicks explained to us the plot of the film 'Looper'. It seems quite gun-heavy, but it also makes sense and has a good concept. What do you think?

It was a little empty on Tuesday as ArwaChihuahua and ANT were on an Art trip to the National Gallery. However, the following day, ArwaChihuahua brought in her National Gallery rubik cube. It appeared that no one could solve it, so ArwaChihuahua went for the cheat way: break it. She later regretted it as it was much harder to put back together. But thanks to Wicks, it was restored to its former glory. Happy ending.

Song of the Week (that ConscienceSarah knows all the words to): Harry Potter in 99 Seconds (and her sister never fails to gasp at the ending.)

On Thursday it was World Book Day, so the teachers had an excuse to come in fancy dress. A few characters that we saw included the Woman in Black, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Katniss, the Mad Hatter and a book (literally, he was dressed in a cardboard box, and was a book. No, he couldn't sit down very easily.)

Friday lunchtime was another of conflict between ArwaChihuahua and Wicks. It was this lunchtime where we actually understood how their hatred started. Apparently Wicks threw a yogurt pot at ArwaChihuahua, that she didn't realise it stll had yogurt in it, which splashed over ArwaChihuahua. Wicks apologised, but it has never been the same after that for ArwaChihuahua...

Also in the same lunchtime, Wicks, ANT and Master tried to recreate the Way of the Warrior, from the popular children's TV show 'Raven'. 'How did they do that?' I hear you ask. Well, they sat on the wall and punched and kicked at regular intervals. Fun times ;p

Until next week, have a good one :)
